Feb 14, 2019 The Best Games Like Star Trek Online. Star Trek Online is an MMORPG that allows players to dive into the universe that Gene Roddenberry had created. Since there is a low probability that most of us will be entering space any time soon, games like this are the closest thing we have to ever exploring the cosmos. Here are 10 games like Star Trek. Jun 17, 2008 I love that movie, it's one of my favorite Star Trek movies. Plummer's General Chang is one of Treks best antagonist and it has a great pace and a lot of memorable scenes. Wonderful sendoff to the TOS crew. It goes to show that all the money, big sets and special effects are not needed if you have a good story and some solid performances.

The Star Trek Online Gateway (or STO Gateway) was a means to remotely access Star Trek Online game information from one's desktop, tablet, or smartphone. It was publicly launched for the Tribble server on October 19, 2012 and to Holodeck on December 10, 2012. There were a number of additions planned for release in 2013. The STO Gateway was shut down on April 13, 2017.

• Star Trek Online Executive Producer confirmed in November 2015 that the Gateway is no longer under active development, stating, 'Gateway is something we'd like to revisit someday, but we have to consider it's prioritization against other new in game features we'd like to make.'^[1]
• Any AOY (agents of yesterday) characters created in game currently (10/26/2016) cannot be accessed on either the Holodeck gateway or the Tribble gateway.
• Gateway was retired on April 13th, 2017 with no current plans for similar feature.^[2]

Tier 5 Reputation Buyouts will become available to Captains on PC with an update this week, and very soon after to Captains on Xbox One and Playstation 4. You’ll notice a new button in the Reputation window, allowing you the option to spend Zen to complete any Reputation up to Tier 5. The starting price for this service is 3000 Zen, but it will decrease in price depending on how much of the Reputation’s XP you’ve already earned.

Once you’ve made this purchase, your character will instantly advance to Tier 5 in the reputation, with all of the Tier Advancement Projects automatically completing, and instantly gain access to the projects that are unlocked from Tier 1 – Tier 5. As is sometimes the case, you may need to move to a different map for your Traits to automatically appear.

This is not affecting the way Reputations work normally – you will still be able to finish any Reputation up to Tier 5 by earning XP and Marks in the traditional way. In order to advance to Tier 6 in a Reputation, you will still need to earn XP and Marks as before.
